Job Title : R&D Technician (Contractor)
Location : Valhalla, NY
Schedule : Monday Friday, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM | Pay Rate : 28 / hr
Description :
The R&D Technician will support benchtop and pilot plant experiments, manage product inventories, and assist with product trials, packing, labelling, and shipping. This role requires hands-on lab work under GLP / GMP practices, accurate documentation, and coordination with cross-functional teams. The technician must be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and conduct benchtop and pilot plant experiments.
- Manage product inventories, product entries, and purchase orders.
- Support pilot plant trials, product packing, shipping, and labeling.
- Follow GLP / GMP practices in laboratory settings.
- Perform accurate data entry, documentation, and procedure compliance.
- Identify and organize resources for experiments with minimal supervision.
- Travel to manufacturing sites as needed to support trials.
- Engage with suppliers on ingredient purchasing and follow-ups.
- Lift and move up to 25 lbs as required.
