Serving over 21 counties across Florida, RTGFL provides safe and healthy housing for low-income homeowners, seniors, veterans, and families in need through home rehabilitation, disaster recovery, and community revitalization programs.

Position Summary

The Construction Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Vice President of Construction and district construction teams to ensure RTGFL's statewide projects run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with program requirements.

This role helps track project progress, maintain documentation, and coordinate communication between headquarters and district offices. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced construction and nonprofit environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative and logistical support to the Vice President of Construction and district Construction Managers.

• Maintain project documentation, inspection records, and permit tracking across districts.
• Prepare reports, meeting notes, and data summaries for construction and compliance reviews.
• Coordinate calendars, travel, and communication for the VP of Construction.
• Track project schedules, budgets, and progress in BuilderTrend and Salesforce.
• Assist with vendor and subcontractor documentation, invoices, and purchase orders.
• Support safety tracking, compliance documentation, and construction team trainings.
• Collaborate with Program Operations and Finance to ensure project alignment with funding requirements.
