Location : Denver, Colorado 80220

Healthcare Setting : Labor & Delivery (L&D) Unit

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing

Start Date : November 24, 2025

End Date : February 23, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Nursing Shift : 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM (12-hour night shifts)

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1820 - $1950

Unit Details : 12 Labor & Delivery beds, 8 triage beds, 11 antepartum beds

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license

Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

Current ACLS and NRP certifications

Intermediate Fetal Monitoring skills

Experience circulating in the Operating Room (OR)

Travel nursing experience preferred

PACU experience is a plus

Strong communication skills and flexibility; team player

L&D Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to mothers and newborns during labor, delivery, and recovery

Monitor fetal and maternal health using Centricity, GE monitors, and Meditech EMR

Circulate in the OR for C-sections and related procedures

Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, D&C, hysterectomy, postpartum tubal ligation, cerclage placement, and versions

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high standards of patient care

Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation

Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth process
