EHR Integration Engineer

Layer Health was founded in 2023 by leading machine learning researchers from MIT and Harvard Medical School. We are building an AI layer that can accurately and scalably synthesize information from medical records, with the mission to reduce friction everywhere in healthcare. We're seeking an experienced EHR Integration Engineer specializing in integrating with common EHRs. The successful candidate will have significant experience using a variety of different protocols (FHIR, HL7, etc.) with leading EHRs such as EPIC and Cerner.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust integrations between Layer Health and various EHR systems (EPIC, Cerner, PACS, Cardiovascular systems, LIS, etc.).
• Troubleshoot integration issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure uninterrupted data flow and system interoperability.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of EHR integrations.
• Create documentation to support integration processes and workflows.
• Communicate project status, issues, feedback, ideas, to various teams.
• Be proactive in communication with team members and clients.

Expected compensation range for this role is $140,000-160,000. Compensation is dependent on experience, overall fit to our role, and candidate location. Expected compensation ranges for this role may change over time. If your compensation requirement is greater than our posted salary ranges, please still consider applying to our role.
