Our client, a leading construction firm in Columbus OH, has an immediate need for a Field Engineer. The Field Engineer is responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. This role requires hands-on field work, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and field personnel to achieve project goals safely and efficiently. The Field Engineer plays a critical role in maintaining quality control, managing resources, and ensuring projects stay on schedule.

The key responsibilities of the position are :

• Assist the Project Manager and Site Superintendent in daily project coordination and planning.
• Provide technical support to field operations, helping resolve design or construction issues.
• Review construction drawings and specifications to ensure adherence to project plans.
• Conduct field surveys and collect data to support project designs.
• Implement quality control and safety standards throughout construction phases.
• Monitor work on-site to ensure compliance with project standards, building codes, and specifications.
• Inspect and test materials, equipment, and work to verify adherence to project requirements.
