Description :

Minimum experience of 1 year is required.

First-time travelers are accepted.

The patient population includes adults and geriatrics.

The unit deals with post-myocardial infarction, heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, and peripheral vascular disease.

Skills required include telemetry, EKG, and Doppler.

The staff-to-patient ratio is 1 : 5 in a unit with an average daily census of 16 patients.

There are 16 beds in total.

Mandatory certifications include BLS and ACLS.

Candidates must be compliant with all necessary qualifications to start on time.

Travelers are expected to work one major holiday during their assignment period.

If a second holiday falls within the same period, they are required to work both.

If three holidays occur, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.

Compliance documentation must be completed before the start date.

Two supervisory references are preferred at the time of application.

The position requires floating to other cardiac telemetry units or other areas as needed.

RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 7 days.

Travelers must have a valid license at the time of submission.
