Description :

We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Telemetry.

The candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of Telemetry RN experience.

The position involves working three 12-hour night shifts per week.

The nurse will care for adult and geriatric patients.

Common patient diagnoses in this role include Congestive Heart Failure, Myocardial Infarction, Atrial Fibrillation, Cardiac Dysrhythmias, Stroke, End Stage Renal Disease, Acute Kidney Failure, Seizures, COPD, Diabetes, COVID-19, Pneumonia, Encephalopathy, Altered Mental Status, UTI, Sepsis, Chest Pain, and Hypertension.

Special procedures include Peritoneal Dialysis and Dysrhythmia Monitoring.

The unit is equipped with Safe Patient Handling Equipment and ceiling lifts in every room.

Weekend coverage is expected every other weekend with a total of six weekend shifts in six weeks.

Floating within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity is required.

Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias are crucial skills for this position.
