Job Description :

The MCAD Librarian is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's extensive library of mechanical computer-aided design (MCAD) files, models, and related engineering assets. This role ensures the efficient organization, cataloging, and retrieval of MCAD resources to support the design and engineering teams, who primarily use Siemens NX for mechanical CAD and Teamcenter for product lifecycle management (PLM).

Responsibilities :

• Validate MCAD file and related engineering data accuracy for overhaul of component library.
• Continuously review and update MCAD library in Teamcenter to improve efficiency of
• collaboration between Electrical and Mechanical teams.
• Collaborate with engineering to understand evolving needs and implement improvements to the MCAD data management processes.
• Develop and implement standardization efforts to increase quality of MCAD data in Teamcenter.
• Maintain up to date models and datasets for the MCAD library in Teamcenter.
