About the Opportunity

Brown University’s School of Professional Studies (SPS) brings a Brown education to new audiences of learners : those focused on the development of skills and a breadth of knowledge necessary for professional success and leadership. We leverage Brown’s intellectual centers of excellence, rigorous teaching, and developmental approach to learning in a range of programs, including serving students outside of traditional degree programs. We partner with Brown departments, centers, institutes, and schools to develop degree and non-degree programs, and to support the recruitment, retention, and placement success of master’s students, including traditional, non-traditional, and professional students.

Responsibilities

The Video Producer is responsible for the conceptualization, creation and management of comprehensive video content for Brown's University's growing portfolio of master’s programs, executive education and mindfulness programs. Leveraging the brand's visual identity and design guidelines, this position will create compelling video assets for paid advertising, website content, social media platforms, and email campaigns. The role focuses exclusively on video production, from initial concept development through final delivery, ensuring all content effectively communicates program value propositions and drives enrollment. This position reports to the Associate Director of Marketing Communications and collaborates closely with the marketing team and program teams to ensure that video deliverables align with marketing objectives and messaging strategies. The position requires a blend of creative storytelling ability, technical video production expertise, and an understanding of how video content supports the student enrollment journey.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor\'s degree in film production, video production, communications, digital media, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
• 3- 5 years video production experience
• Portfolio / reel demonstrating strong video production skills across various formats and platforms
• Experience with end-to-end video production from concept development through final delivery
• Understanding of accessibility standards for visual and multimedia content
• Strong storytelling abilities and understanding of visual narrative techniques
• Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Experience creating gif / animated designs preferred
