PRESS OPERATOR

Description:

The position will be responsible for Operating or set-up and operate a press to die cut materials to customer specifications. Select and stack materials, position dies and trip machine. Plan and position cuts to obtain maximum number of pieces and best quality. May use several dies simultaneously to match work, eliminate material handling, etc. Work from written instructions and established procedures to complete assigned tasks. Address and resolve routine inquiries and problems, referring the more complex issues to higher level operators.

Requirements:

2+ years Machine Operating experience 4 years Printing/Pre-press experience

• 4 years Converting preferred presses/Packaging machines
• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Ability to read BOM and Routing
• High attention to detail
