In This Position, You Will Have the Opportunity To :

  • Complete accurate verification of finished good counts going to Sterilization
  • Perform IFS and traveler activities per work instruction : component traceability, label verification, and quantity produced.
  • Actively listen and communicate professionally to various levels of the organization.
  • Communicate effectively with all vendors and suppliers.
  • Perform Gamma and ETO lot wrap up duties.
  • Restack skids and product to meet sterility requirements.
  • Ensure correct product dosing by ensuring products are within required parameters for specified dosing.
  • Properly label each skid with dose mapping numbers.
  • Stage, organize & wrap skids for shipment to sterilization. Load semi- trailers via Hi-Lo.
  • Contact Trucking company to schedule pickup, drop off and switching of trailers as needed.
  • Create Purchase Orders and all other required paperwork for loads & ensure they go to the proper companies and to our quality department.
  • Paperwork and count verifications are a vital part of this role. Must ensure accuracy of all documents. Any count discrepancies found while building loads is to be brought to manufacturing to correct.
  • All work is done in a timely manner.
  • Escalate issues to the Supervisor when necessary.
  • Work independently and have strong problem solving, time management, decision making and organization skills. Proactively participates in Kaizen events and creating a continuous improvement culture.
  • Maintain 5 S work environment - cleanliness and organization maintained on Sterile Dock.
  • Follow Aspen Surgical safety guidelines and procedures when and where required.
  • Utilize downtime properly.
  • Leave work area when appropriate, does not abuse bathroom breaks and does not wander.
  • Maintain and display strong attendance habits by being present and on time.
  • Overtime and weekend work are frequently required.
  • What You Need to Succeed in This Position :

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 3-5 years of related experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills & customer service.
  • Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Applications and Outlook
  • Must have a positive attitude while maintaining flexibility.
  • Conscientious, accurate, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to obtain Hi-lo license per OSHA standards
