Primarily work weekdays on the afternoon work shift, 2 : 00pm 10 : 30pm AFTER shadowing application lab technician up to 2 months on the day shift (6am - 2 : 30pm).
Max - $19 / hr for HS & GED graduates
Max - $21 / hr for minimum of associate's degree graduates
Prepare automotive coatings test panels / parts using automated application equipment.
Accurately perform equipment metrology / preventative maintenance and coatings tests.
Appropriately prioritize work and maintain accurate records.
Proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials. Housekeeping equipment cleanliness.
Compliance to corporate and site safety policies and procedures.
Interacts within a Painting Process Laboratory.
Develop & Maintain Painting Process knowledge. Will run experimental spray trials as assigned.

Have at least 1-year general work experience with the drive to work for a good company. Will train on specific responsibilities.

Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED required, with chemistry and algebra aptitude preferred; some college chemistry and math are desirable.
Ability to understand, record and verbalize detailed information accurately is required; the Applications Tech must be observant and accurate.
Must be able to handle physically demanding position; Lift up to 50 lbs.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
