About the Team

The Fan Monetization team seeks to drive fan engagement, retention and activation in order to reinforce the value proposition : Patreon is the home for a creator's true fans. Our team seeks to work at multiple points to accelerate the flywheel between members as they discover, engage, convert to membership and evangelize. We leverage tools to enhance the likelihood of conversion by building delightful, retentive experiences at key points of leverage.

About the Role

• Lead Android development of products that maximize fan value for of Patreon users, making them more likely to convert and retain
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, data scientists, and other engineers to design, build, and iterate on monetization features.
• Contribute to patterns and practices that optimize for reliability and developer velocity
• Work with a fully cross functional team to define and deliver new product features
• Build a strong product-minded engineering culture by mentoring and guiding engineers

Patreon operates under a hybrid work model, where employees based in office locations are expected to come into the office two days per week, excluding sick time and paid leave. The goal of this policy is to be intentional about the in-person time we spend together to strengthen the feeling of community at Patreon. At Patreon, we believe in fair and transparent pay. In compliance with New York and California pay transparency laws, we are sharing the expected salary range for this role. The posted salary range is dependent on the location and the level. This range may encompass multiple levels within the role's job family. The final offer will be based on candidate's experience, skills, competencies, and geographic location, aligning with the appropriate job level within Patreon's leveling framework.
