Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Azure Developer with 12+ years in enterprise application development and cloud engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure, ensuring scalability, performance, and security. This onsite role requires hands-on expertise in Azure services, .NET / Java APIs, microservices, and cloud architecture, along with strong collaboration and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications and services on Microsoft Azure .

Build and maintain scalable APIs and microservices using Azure Functions, App Services, AKS , or similar Azure workloads.

Integrate Azure services such as Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Service Bus, Event Grid, Key Vault, and Storage Accounts .

Collaborate with solution architects, business analysts, and development teams to translate requirements into Azure-based solutions.

Optimize cloud application performance, cost, and reliability following Azure best practices.

Develop CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps , automate deployments, and enforce coding standards.

Maintain and enhance existing cloud-hosted applications with modern tools, frameworks, and practices.

Provide technical mentorship to junior developers and support team-wide knowledge building.

Participate in Agile / Scrum ceremonies and contribute to cloud modernization initiatives.

Required Qualifications

12+ years of professional software development experience.

Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure (App Services, Functions, AKS, API Management, Storage, Key Vault).

Proficiency in backend development using Java or .NET Core .

Solid experience building RESTful APIs and microservices.

Strong understanding of relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB).

Strong knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and secure coding practices.

Experience with CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps .

Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with containers / orchestration (Docker, AKS ).

Exposure to front-end technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) is a plus.

Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP .

Experience working in large, enterprise-scale Agile / Scrum environments.
