Job Summary :
Join our dedicated team as a Licensed Mental Health Professional, where you will provide invaluable diagnostic evaluations and psychotherapy for patients. Your expertise will be utilized in case management, treatment planning, and psychotherapeutic interventions tailored for individuals and groups, including Intensive Outpatient Programs.
Essential Responsibilities :
As a crucial member of our team, you will :
- Offer psychotherapy and counseling for individuals, families, and groups, addressing mental health and dual disorders. Services include crisis intervention, skills training, stress management, and more.
- Exhibit clinical competency across a range of evidence-based treatment techniques.
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations using the latest DSM to determine appropriate levels of care.
- Assess members’ urgency and develop the necessary course of action, coordinating care with psychiatrists and other professionals.
- Provide valuable resources and support to members, integrating community services as needed.
- Engage in research initiatives and data collection to enhance behavioral health practices.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary clinical team on assessments and treatment planning.
- Maintain clinical expertise and adhere to best practices in mental health service delivery.
- Keep comprehensive and accurate records of therapy, participating in team meetings and quality management efforts.
- Comply with organizational and regulatory guidelines, ensuring high standards of patient care.
- Perform other clinical duties as necessary.
Basic Qualifications :
At least three (3) years of post-degree clinical experience.Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist or Mental Health Counselor License in Hawaii.Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association required at hire.National Provider Identifier must be obtained upon hire.Additional Requirements :
Proficiency in conducting assessments and diagnostic evaluations using DSM.Strong skills in interpersonal communication, problem solving, teamwork, and documentation.Experience with evidence-based treatments, including individual and group therapy for various age groups.Ability to create detailed treatment plans.Taxonomy code needed upon hire.Successful completion of the credentialing process is required after hiring.Preferred Qualifications :
Experience with documentation that meets national accreditation standards.Background in providing behavioral health services within a primary care context.Experience with addiction-related issues and risk assessment.Proficiency in crisis interventions.Primary Location : Hawaii, Wailuku, Maui Lani Medical Offices.
