Entry-Level CNC Operator – ACAL Precision Products (Roseville, MI)

ACAL Precision Products is a growing CNC machine shop in Roseville, Michigan, specializing in prototype and short-run precision machining. We work across a wide range of industries — from automotive and aerospace to defense and industrial applications. Position Summary :

We’re looking for a motivated CNC Operator who’s ready to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. In this role, you’ll work alongside experienced programmers and machinists, learning to operate CNC mills, lathes, and grinders. The right candidate will enjoy variety, take direction well, and be eager to develop hands-on machining skills.

Responsibilities :

Operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, grinders) following setup and production instructions.

Load and unload parts, monitor machine operation, and keep machines running smoothly.

Perform basic inspections using hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and pin gauges.

Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Move between different machines as needed, depending on daily production priorities.

Communicate with team members to ensure quality and efficiency.

Qualifications :

Previous CNC experience or manufacturing background, 2-3 years minimum preferred.

Ability to read and understand blueprints a plus (training provided if needed).

Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Dependable, punctual, and able to work well within a small team.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Work Schedule :

Full-time, day shift : Monday–Friday, 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM

Overtime may be available.

Compensation :

Starting pay range : $18–$23 / hour , depending on experience.

90-day trial period with review for pay adjustment and benefit eligibility.
