Domino's Delivery Driver
Full-time and part-time positions are available. Pay : $17.00 - $25.00 per hour. Benefits include 401(k), 401(k) matching, employee discount, flexible schedule, health insurance, holiday pay, and a fun work environment.
Schedule options include 10-hour, 12-hour, 8-hour, and 4-hour shifts, day shift, night shift, and weekend availability. Supplemental pay includes tips. Reimbursements for gas and phone data usage are provided. Training is orientation and on-the-job training.
Communication skills include the ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions and to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Essential functions and skills include the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator), make a correct monetary change, and have verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders. Motor coordination between eyes and hands / fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed is required. Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen is also necessary.
Work conditions include exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions, in-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees in cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas, sudden changes in temperature, fumes from food odors, exposure to cornmeal dust, cramped quarters including walk-in cooler, hot surfaces / tools from oven up to 500 degrees or higher, and sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
Sensing includes talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.
Temperaments include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions.
Physical requirements include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping / bending, crouching / squatting, reaching, hand / eye tasks, tools, equipment, and work aids.
Driving specific job duties include delivering product by car and then to the door of the customer, delivering flyers and door hangers. Requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards and access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
Essential skills include navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings.
Physical demands include carrying pizzas and beverages while performing walking and climbing duties, delivering pizzas within a designated delivery area, traveling between the store and delivery vehicle, and navigating five or more flights of stairs during delivery.
