Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Sioux Falls, SD (zip 57105) – South Dakota nursing jobs

Facility Type : Acute Care Hospital, Level I Trauma Center, Operating Room

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 25 / 2025 – End : 1 / 24 / 2026)

Shifts : 10-hour day shifts, every 4th weekend; call shifts required

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Shift Details : 3-4 late / flex shifts per 4-week schedule, 1-4 overnight call shifts per week, 1 late shift per week (8 : 30am-7 : 00pm or 10 : 30am-9 : 00pm)

Dress Code : Ceil blue scrubs provided; must follow surgical dress code

Estimated Weekly Salary : $2,380 - $2,550

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (BSN required)

Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience

Trauma Level I nursing experience required

BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)

Ability to work independently and across all surgical specialties

EPIC charting experience preferred

OR RN Responsibilities

Circulate in a single OR, delivering direct patient care during surgical procedures

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team

Participate in scheduled call shifts and late / flex shifts

Follow all safety, infection control, and hospital protocols

Complete unit orientation within one week, including hospital charting and ESAR privileges

Maintain accurate, timely documentation using EPIC electronic health records
