The Butz Family of Companies seeks an IT Support Specialist at Alvin H. Butz located in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This individual will assist the IT Manager in various Tier 1 level administrative duties such as providing initial contact to telephone requests and emails from users, and promptly and appropriately dealing with other end user support. Responsibilities
Acts as initial contact person for IT Help Desk inquiries
Log support calls and emails into Track it; Prioritizes issues appropriately based on department standards
Direct support requests to the appropriate member of the IT Department; Escalate critical user issues to IT Manager
Equipment ordering
Maintains maintenance agreements, warranty expirations and software renewals
Maintains departmental documentation
Qualifications include : Proficient in M365 products including Teams, windows based operating system experience, 1-2 years Level 1 Support Technician experience, IT related Associates Degree / BA or Technical school or 3-5 years on the job experience in equivalent role, excellent organization and communication skills, detail orientedBasic Troubleshooting, Microsoft Windows, Service Desk Tickets
