Surgical Services Audit Specialist

Reporting to the

Surgery Business manager thisposition is responsible for the

efficient and accurate daily auditing andreconciling of patient

charges, maintaining a comprehensive understanding ofproducts for

each service line. The position is also responsible forupdating

preference cards, analyzing and trending surgeon block time, input

ofservice line audit data, participating in quality development and

processenhancements as they relate to patient supply charges, and

recommending costsavings

EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE :

1.

Bachelor’sdegree in business preferred.

2.

Experiencein materials management / surgical service supply chain

preferred.

3. Workingknowledge of Microsoft

Office suite and computerized analytical

tools
