Job Summary :

Methodist Healthcare System is recruiting pediatric anesthesiologists to join our growing program in San Antonio, Texas.

Job Details :

  • BC / BE Anesthesiology
  • Pediatric anesthesiology fellowship required
  • Do your own cases
  • Pediatric service lines only general surgery, ENT, urology
  • Case coverage at one hospital only Methodist Children s Hospital

Qualified candidates :

  • New grads welcome!
  • Must be either an M.D. or D.O. with the completion of an ACGME anesthesiology residency program
  • Texas medical license, or eligible for unrestricted Texas licensure

    • About Methodist Children s Heart Institute, Methodist Children s Hospital & Methodist Healthcare System :

  • Methodist Children s Heart Institute is a well-established and rapidly expanding program, which performs the full spectrum of procedures including neonatal cardiac surgery and surgery for low birth weight babies, complex valve repair, pulmonary autograft procedure, and adult congenital heart surgery.
  • 202-bed facility with seven operating suites
  • 94 NICU beds and a 17-bed pediatric intensive care unit with plans for future expansion to a dedicated pediatric cardiac intensive care unit
  • Largest congenital heart program in San Antonio for pediatrics and adults
  • Congenital heart program enjoys an extensive catchment area and rapidly growing referral base in South and West Texas, with 40% of volume neonates
  • First Level IV NICU in San Antonio and one of the largest in the region
  • First pediatric aortic heart valve procedure in Texas
  • Methodist Healthcare System is a 50-50 co-ownership between Methodist Healthcare Ministries, South Texas largest non-public funding source of community health care, contributing $976 million since 1995; and HCA Healthcare, the nation s leading provider of healthcare services. Methodist Children s Hospital is one of the system s nine acute care hospitals.
