​Principal Hotel is looking for an overnight auditor, to join our team in our new Columbia Illinois location. This position would start as part time with 2-3 days per week.  The overnight auditor will greet, check in guest, assist and answer questions from our guest, all while providing a high level of service. During the overnight hours the auditor is responsible for safeguarding the hotel and guest.  You are responsible for auditing the previous day’s receipts to verify and balance entries, runs reports and verifies accuracy of information.

The ideal candidate will deliver a professional and qualified first impression to all visitors. This person must have excellent communication and customer service skills. He / she has a basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures / systems and the ability to multitask in a busy environment. You must be comfortable with decision making and being the only one in the hotel during overnight hours.

Responsibilities :

• Guest services – Welcome guests, employees, and clients who arrive at the hotel and clarify the purpose of their visit and assist as necessary. Answer all phone calls and emails. Just being readily available at all times to ensure the guest receive top tier service.
• Administration – Daily reporting and filing documents. File and keeping good records. Maintain clean and organized workstations and being diligent and aware of both current and upcoming events in all areas of the property.
