Summary
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with children, a strong understanding of early childhood development, and excellent communication skills. As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow. Must be able to work Monday - Friday, 8 : 30 am - 5 : 30 pm with an hour lunch break. You should be dependable and love working as a team and with children. You should see yourself as a teacher and not a babysitter.
Duties
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
- Provide a nurturing and supportive atmosphere where children feel valued, respected, and encouraged to explore their interests.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through open communication and collaboration.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Observe and assess children's progress, documenting milestones and identifying areas for growth.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's development, behavior, and any concerns or milestones.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and stay current on best practices in early childhood education.
Requirements
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, or equivalent teaching certification (CDA).Previous experience working with young children in a daycare or preschool setting.Understanding of child development theories and best practices in early childhood education.Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children.CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).Background check and clearances required.Benefits
