Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details : \n

  • Work 12-hour day shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM

    • \n

  • Travel assignment serving as backfill coverage

    • \n

  • Patient ratios of 1 : 2, with 1 : 1 ratios for high acuity patients including post-CABG cases

    • \n

  • Work with advanced equipment including balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia devices, and ECMO

    • \n

  • Use Meditech EMR system

    • \n

  • Care for trauma patients, post-CABG, post-TAVR, and general post-surgical ICU patients

    • \n

  • Perform procedures including chest tube management, central line care, and medication drip administration

    • \n

  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, TNCC or ATCN

    • \n

  • Preferred certification : NIH

    • \n

  • Must demonstrate driven, organized, and efficient work style with positive attitude and engagement

    • \n

  • Work on 26-bed surgical ICU unit on 2nd floor

    • \n

  • Day shift staffing includes 13 RNs, 1 charge nurse, and 1 patient care tech
