Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician

Contract Duration : December 8, 2025 – March 31, 2026 (W2 with Benefits avaliable)

Schedule : Monday–Friday

Shifts

  • 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM EST
  • 12 : 30 PM – 8 : 00 PM EST

Location

  • Must reside in Florida, Ohio, or Arizona
  • Must hold an active state pharmacy technician licensure

    • Requirements

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification
  • State Pharmacy Technician License
  • Experience working with Medicare / Medicaid

    • Training

  • 2 weeks (10 business days)

    • Role Overview

    The Specialty Operations Pharmacy Technician supports pharmacists and patients by ensuring adherence to specialty prescription processes and programs designed to optimize health outcomes. Responsibilities include :

  • Contacting physicians for prescription clarification
  • Entering prescription orders into the system
  • Handling inbound calls from patients and providers
  • Communicating effectively with patients and healthcare professionals

    • This role works within defined parameters and quality standards, with some discretion over prioritization and timing. Decisions typically involve interpreting department policies and completing assignments under minimal supervision.
