Overview of Responsibilities :

As a Self-Checkout Host at Sprouts Farmers Market, you are the face of the company, delivering exceptional customer service, while our customer's scan and self-pay for their basket.

• Oversee self-checkout units, ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service.
• Assist customers as they scan, weigh, bag and pay for their own items, ensuring a smooth and seamless process.
• Serve multiple customers at once and anticipate issues before they occur.
• Answer questions, and assist with issues that arise (large items, scanning / weighing issues, payment issues, etc.).
• Monitor scanning activity to ensure scanning accuracy.
• Invite Sprouts customers to use self-checkout lanes, especially if lines are forming in other lanes
• Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items, promotions and events; provide direction of product location throughout the store.
• Ensure that self-checkout areas are always maintained in a clean and orderly condition, and execute all other related duties as assigned.
• Thank customers as they leave the self-checkout area.

Qualifications :

Pay Range : The pay range for this position is $12.40 - $17.35 / hour. Sprouts Farmers Market determines pay based on applicable experience and qualifications of the applicant. Benefits :
