Position Summary :
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our team at our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC). The CRNA will provide high-quality anesthesia services for a variety of outpatient procedures across multiple specialties, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and optimal outcomes in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and evaluations of patients.
- Develop and implement individualized anesthesia care plans in collaboration with surgeons and healthcare teams.
- Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care (MAC) for outpatient surgical procedures.
- Monitor patients intraoperatively and adjust anesthetic plans as needed for optimal outcomes.
- Provide post-anesthesia care and follow-up to assess recovery and address complications.
- Maintain accurate, thorough, and timely documentation in accordance with ASC protocols and regulatory standards.
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and quality improvement policies.
- Participate in emergency preparedness and code situations when necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care and support ASC efficiency.
Qualifications :
Masters or Doctoral degree from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.Current and unrestricted RN and APRN licensure in CA.Certification by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).Current ACLS and BLS certification (PALS preferred).Minimum of [1-2] years of CRNA experience in a similar outpatient or surgical setting preferred.Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a high-efficiency, low-resource setting.Working Conditions :
MondayFriday schedule; no nights, weekends, or call.Fast-paced environment with multiple short-duration procedures.Requires standing, walking, and assisting with patient transfers.Benefits :
