About The Position

Job Title : CT Technologist

Hours per Shift : 10 : 30 AM - 9 : 00 PM

Experience :

Minimum of one year, full-time equivalent, clinical experience in Diagnostic Radiology.

License :

ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current state license as a Radiographer is required.

Certifications :

Advanced certification in CT required within 18 months of hire or transfer.

American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within three months of hire.

Must-Have :

Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required.

Description :

Operates computed tomography (CT) and related equipment as directed by a radiologist.

Performs CT studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols.

Utilizes appropriate radiation protection measures.

Reviews images and archives them with associated patient data.

Interacts with imaging personnel, nursing and medical staff, patients, and visitors.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Works with at least one other CT Tech at all times.
