Overview

We are seeking a talented Ignition Developer to join our dynamic team in Birmingham, MI. As an Ignition Developer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining automation systems that drive efficiency and productivity. Responsibilities

Design and develop Ignition applications to meet client specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.
Implement and maintain automation systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Debug and troubleshoot existing applications to resolve issues efficiently.
Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance our solutions.
Document development processes, system configurations, and user manuals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience with Ignition software and related technologies.

Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or similar languages.

Familiarity with SQL databases and data visualization tools.

Prior experience in Manufacturing or Controls

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

Experience in industrial automation or manufacturing environments is a plus.

You should be proficient in :

PLC Troubleshooting Skills

Data Analysis and Manipulation

PLC Programming Experience

ERP & MRP Systems

SQL Administration Experience

Network Connectivity Experience (TCP / IP, SDWAN)

Machines & technologies you'll use :

Warehouse Management Software

Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)

Industrial Controls

SCADA
