We are looking for a Senior Manager, Accounting with strong technical accounting experience to join our growing Finance team as a newly created position. The role will be in our Boston office working in close collaboration with the London-based Finance team. You will have the opportunity to apply your extensive experience of US GAAP and broader financial experience across a range of processes and operations for a global group. The primary responsibilities of this role will include, but are not limited to, the below :
- Responsible for leading audits with an external Big 4 audit firm, ensuring financial statements comply with GAAP accounting policies and disclosure requirements
- Responsible for the month-end close process for US legal entities in the group, including financial reporting, reconciliations and management information
- Input and maintain accurate accounting data in the firm’s financial systems, ensuring all entries comply with relevant local accounting standards
- Contribute to the enhancement of financial policies and procedures to strengthen control environments and ensure best practice, with a specific focus on US GAAP and local US compliance and regulatory frameworks
- Collaborate with the Boston based Tax Manager to assist in the preparation of relevant US federal and local tax filings, liaising with external advisors as required
- Collaborate with our outsourced service provider to manage general ledger activities, journal entries, reconciliations and month-end close processes
- Participate in finance system improvements and digital transformation initiatives to enhance efficiencies and reporting accuracy
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Support the COO / Head of Operational Finance with ad hoc special projects as required
- Ensure full compliance with all local data protection regulations and privacy controls, and any related issues are raised via the appropriate channels
Key responsibilities may be assessed and are subject to change from time to time based on the needs of the business. The individual may be required to work overtime as needed.

Required :
We are looking for a proactive and motivated team player to join our Finance team. This role requires a strong understanding of GAAP, financial principles and the ability to review and communicate complex financial information effectively. The successful candidate will ideally be able to demonstrate the below qualifications / attributes :

Massachusetts requires Partners Capital to include a reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role. This base salary range is specific to individuals applying to work in our Massachusetts office and takes into account a number of factors. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role in Massachusetts is $120,000 – $180,000. The base salary offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
The base salary is one element of our competitive compensation package. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives and our profit share program.
