The nurse will provide care to a diverse patient population including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The average daily census is 44, with a patient ratio of 4 per nurse. Interdisciplinary support services include Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Social Services, and more. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac telemetry and be skilled in managing various patient care needs. Familiarity with accessing / managing ports, blood product administration, and peripheral line care is essential. The nurse will be responsible for managing dysrhythmias and administering procedural sedation as needed. Experience with telemetry monitoring, both on-unit and remotely, is required. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to float within their scope as needed. A BSN is preferred, and all candidates must have completed modules during orientation.
