Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound technology to assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of patients. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and patient care, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with both patients and medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
• Utilize knowledge of Ob / Gyn practices to conduct specialized imaging for obstetric and gynecological assessments.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures, providing clear instructions and support throughout the imaging process.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including imaging results and observations.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret ultrasound findings and contribute to patient diagnosis.
• Uphold aseptic techniques to prevent infection during procedures and ensure a clean working environment.
• Stay updated on advancements in sonography technology and techniques to enhance diagnostic capabilities.
• Educate patients about ultrasound procedures, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.

Experience

Proven experience in sonography or a related field is preferred, with a strong background in diagnostic radiology.

Familiarity with medical imaging equipment and techniques, particularly in Ob / Gyn settings.

Knowledge of medical terminology and physiology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.

Demonstrated ability to provide excellent patient care while maintaining professionalism in a clinical environment.

Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting with patients and collaborating with medical staff effectively.
