Overview :
As a Systems Administrator / Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of critical IT infrastructure for our diverse client base within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. A strong emphasis on Windows expertise including Windows server, on-prem and hybrid domains and Azure is expected. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of client systems, driving proactive solutions, and contributing to strategic technology initiatives.
Responsibilities :
Install, configure, maintain, and monitor IT infrastructure, servers, applications, network devices, and other IT equipmentResearch, evaluate, recommend, and procure software and hardware productsPerform regular system administration tasks including backups, software patches and upgrades, system monitoring, and directory services administrationTroubleshoot infrastructure, server, and application issuesMaintain secure systems environmentsPerform work according to defined ITSMm processes including change management, knowledge management, and asset managementCreate and maintain technical documentation including designs, configurations, processes, and proceduresProvide technical assistance and support to users as neededAny additional IT-related tasks requiredRequirements :
QualificationsJob Requirements :
5-7 years of experience in IT, with 3-5 years of experience in a Systems Administrator role4-year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related field. Equivalent work experience may be acceptable in lieu of degreeAbility to effectively problem-solve and troubleshoot IT incidents and problemsSolid conceptual foundation in Information Security and ITSMOnsite client visits may be required, including work being performed primarily at one client location. While location(s) are subject to change, this position is required to be an in-person role.
