Physician Assistant – Surgical Services

Location : Upper Hudson Valley, NY (2 hours north of NYC | 45 minutes south of Albany)

Position Type : Full-Time, Permanent | Hospital-Employed

About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Board-Certified Physician Assistant to join our expanding surgical team in a dynamic hospital-based setting. This is a full-time, permanent position offering a diverse and rewarding mix of surgical responsibilities alongside a collaborative team of skilled surgeons and advanced practice providers.

Position Highlights

• Serve as a First Surgical Assistant for gynecologic and general surgery cases, with occasional opportunities to assist in other surgical subspecialties.
• Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative care , including orders, documentation, and coordination of patient flow.
• Round on inpatients and perform surgical consults in both the Emergency Department and on inpatient floors.
• Work collaboratively with 3 general surgeons, 3 gynecologic surgeons, 2 surgical PAs, and 1 first assist nurse practitioner.
• Participate in a rotating call schedule limited to emergent OR cases only.
