The town is known for its friendly community and beautiful surroundings, providing a perfect balance of work and leisure.\nAs an Occupational Therapist, you will assess patients’ physical, communication, and cognitive skills to develop individualized treatment plans. You will implement therapeutic activities to help patients regain independence in daily living, teach adaptive technology, and coach patients through exercises for pain relief and functional improvement. You will also review progress, adapt treatments, and provide support and education to family members and caregivers. Administrative responsibilities include maintaining accurate records and writing reports. You may collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and assist with discharge planning by recommending home exercise programs and assistive equipment.\nRequired qualifications include a current Occupational Therapist license, strong communication and assessment skills, and experience in developing and implementing treatment plans. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is beneficial.
