The Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in the daily operations of the store. This role is critical in driving sales, maintaining exceptional customer service, upholding food safety and quality standards, and developing a positive and productive team environment. The Assistant Manager is expected to act as the leader in the General Manager's absence and be a role model for all team members.
To qualify for this rockstar opportunity, you are eligible to work in the U.S. and meet the age requirements and experience outlined within the application.
Certification
In order to become an assistant manager, you must get certified. If you have previous Jimmy John's experience (more than three months in a leadership position, such as PIC or Asst. Manager) you may qualify for a local 1 week training program. If you have not had any JJ's experience than training consists of a 3 week onsite program out of state, with approximately 2 weeks of online and in store training prior to traveling the onsite.
