Resident Assistant / Caregiver - PM Shift Supervisor

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Create an environment that enhances the well-being of residents and teamwork
• Provide new staff with training and support
• Serve as a resource to staff, residents and family members
• Respond to emergency situations, communicate and document as indicated
• Note changes in a resident's condition and inform Administrator and / or Nurse
• Review the assignment sheets and service plan for each resident's care to ensure completion
• Administer medications and maintain accurate records
• Provide for the daily physical care of residents. Assist residents in nighttime routines, toileting, showering, grooming, and other personal hygiene and assistance needs
• Facilitate and encourage participation in life enrichment programs
• Assist residents and staff during meal times
• Participation on-call staffing responsibilities
