Honeywell Aerospace is looking for a Senior Advanced Automation Engineer to support Ring Laser Gyroscope and MEMS based Inertial Sensors and IMUs products manufacturing in Minneapolis, MN. This is a hybrid role.
You will determine technologies needed by the team to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specification, for improving existing and introducing new processes / product technologies. You will maximize efficiency by analyzing the layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization. Assist in the development, integration, and own production implementation of automation equipment (i.e. robotics or digitization). Support daily production activities and drive producibility improvement projects in a challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities
Join a team that applies its technical expertise and knowledge to ensure products are produced with high quality and efficiency. You will be a technical expert with responsibility for product and process application. You will ensure product integrity manufacturing output and continuous improvements working with labs and factory operations.
Our team develops new and modifies existing processes, defines process equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of Ring Laser Gyroscope and MEMS based Inertial Sensors and IMUs. The Senior Automation Engineer is an experienced expert that will influence the planning and designing of manufacturing engineering processes, by bringing automation skillset to an existing team of product and process engineers. This skillset may include automation hardware experience or IIOT types of software and manufacturing digitization.
