Accounts Payable Analyst

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team in Richardson, Texas. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy, and supporting operational efficiency. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate across departments and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities :

  • Process and review accounts payable transactions with precision and efficiency.
  • Identify workflow inefficiencies and collaborate with leadership to implement effective solutions.
  • Perform reconciliations of accounts payable aging reports, resolve discrepancies, and assist with month-end closing activities.
  • Address inquiries from branch controllers and other teams, providing clear and timely resolutions.
  • Prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Drive special projects, including automation initiatives and system enhancements, to optimize operations.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders by delivering exceptional customer service.

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or corporate accounting; experience in multi-entity environments is a plus.
  • Proficient in accounting principles and practices, particularly within the U.S.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and VicAI software is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and drive process improvements.
  • Self-motivated and proactive in identifying opportunities for operational excellence.
