Under the direction of the Shift Production Supervisor, as a Line Lead Support team member, you'll be responsible for supporting production lines, ensuring efficient completion of scheduled production. Start : $24.37

90 Day : $25.74

1 Year : $26.18

This position is eligible for $1.00 Shift differential pay

How You Will Contribute to our Legacy of Excellence :

• Assist Line Operators during changeovers, obtaining film and zipper supplies in order to minimize downtime and maximize Line Operators' effectiveness.
• Provide general production line support in the way of : line set-up, fill-in Line Operator, harp repair, trim processing, and 40lb. block cheese opening.
• Assist in keeping track of in-process and completed production ensuring that orders are properly filled.
• Assist in determining the amount of cheese needed to provide the line for order completion.
• Responsible for correct completion of all packaging specifications. These include, but are not limited to : cheese type, shred style, package weight, date coding, film, labels, stickers, and all added ingredients.
• Fill in for Line Operators as needed.
• Consistent and reliable attendance to maintain adequate staffing levels and meet customer commitments is required.
• Set-up and operate packaging machines, high-speed checkweigher, code dating equipment, package labelers, dual tamp case labeling equipment, and Accra-Ply labelers and possess working knowledge of robotic case packers on Laudenberg and Ultima shred lines.
• Assist maintenance personnel in troubleshooting and repairing, mechanical and / or electrical problems as they relate to the packaging equipment on assigned production lines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
