Shift Details and Responsibilities

This position will be working 72 hours every two weeks on the night shift, 12-hour shifts, and every third weekend.

In the Nursing Station Technician role in the NICU, you will work under the direct supervision of a professional nurse to demonstrate excellent customer service, collaboration, and communication skills with patients, families, and the healthcare team on a fast-paced unit.

• Minimal direct patient care
• Maintaining unit desk area functions such as answering phones, processing admissions, discharging and transferring forms, and assembling patient charts
• Setting up and maintaining patient rooms
• Ordering and stocking of supplies

Licensure, Certification & Requirements

Basic Life Support (BLS for Healthcare Providers) certification is required. Ontrack participants must obtain BLS certification upon completion of the OnTrack program.

Compensation

The posted compensation range corresponds to the minimum and maximum pay rates outlined in your union agreement for the respective job classifications at the time of job posting. An individual's pay rate within this range may be influenced by various factors, including FTE, skills, knowledge, educational background, and qualifying experience as specified in the contract. If your role is eligible for a sign-on bonus, the bonus program that is approved and in place at the time of offer, is what will be honored.

$23.40-$29.79 Hourly
