We are seeking an experienced Facilities Specialist to join our growing team. The Facilities Specialist role is a hand-on position that will work on site within our Princeton, NJ locations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and repair, including performing minor repairs and troubleshooting, of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire safety, and mechanical infrastructure
- Coordinate preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan and reduce downtime
- Work with company and property management to develop and implement facility management strategies to include preventive maintenance programs and conduct routine safety inspections
- Plan and implement renovation, expansion, and relocation projects while managing vendor relationships
- Create and control maintenance and facility budgets, prepare regular financial, and operational reports for leadership
- Maintain compliance with local, state, and federal building codes, safety regulations, and environmental laws
- Supervise facility contractors and service providers
- Support business continuity by responding promptly to facility emergencies or service interruptions
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance schedules, inventory, tools, and supplies
- Assists with stocking snacks and supplies as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
