Saginaw, Michigan - Pathologist Job

Clinical Role

Seeking a board certified or board eligible Pathologist

Full-time position

Practice details :

Assist with preparation & performance of human tissue exams

Daily surgical case dissections and descriptions

Routine microscopic exams, frozen sections, etc.

Coverage of clinical laboratory, including blood bank

Support surgical department for select procedures

Specialties covered : Surgical pathology, GI, GU, neuropathology, dermatopathology, hematopathology, cytology (no GYN cytology specimens)

Workload : 35-40 case reads per day, split between two pathologists

Requirements :

AP / CP certified pathologist

Active Michigan license or eligibility

Reason for recruitment : Backfill for a departing physician

Location : On hospital campus
