Pet Care Technician Job Summary :

As a Pet Care Technician at K9 Resorts , youll play an important role in providing compassionate care and maintaining a clean, safe environment for our furry guests. This hands-on position is perfect for dog lovers who dont mind rolling up their sleeves to ensure the well-being, comfort, and happiness of every pup in our care. Daily responsibilities include cleaning accommodations, assisting with doggie daycare, and providing bathsall while giving plenty of love and attention. Strong communication, observation skills, and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities :

Support and achieve the mission and goals of K9 Resorts.

Provide top-quality care for all boarding and daycare guests.

Monitor and promote the health, safety, and well-being of each dog.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all accommodations, play areas, and outdoor spaces.

Conduct body checks to identify pre-existing conditions or injuries.

Work on your feet for extended periods (8+ hours).

Perform additional tasks as directed by management, including :

Escorting dogs to and from daycare / boarding areas.

Facilitating one-on-one playtimes.

Taking dogs outside for elimination breaks.

Qualifications :

Ability to lift at least 20 lbs.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Availability for some weekend and holiday shifts.

Outgoing, positive, and enthusiastic personality.

Demonstrated love and compassion for dogs.

Strong work ethic and a Can-Do attitude.
