BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking an energetic and experienced Registered Dietician for a per diem opportunity performing home health visits in our Essex County Visits office. This office services clients on a per visit basis in territories throughout Essex County.

Prior home care experience preferred, but not required. As a Registered Dietician, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides skilled nursing and rehabilitative care to clients, affording them the opportunity to receive the medical care required to remain at home.

Responsibilities :

• Making home visits to clients in designated geographic territories.
• Planning, organizing, and conducting dietetic education for our staff, clients, and caregivers.
• Assessing, developing, and counseling clients and families on medical nutrition therapy for preventative care and disease management.
• Providing reliable, objective information and education to individuals and families in a home health care setting.
• Translating the latest scientific findings and information so that it is easy for our staff, clients, and caregivers to understand and put into practice.
• Thorough documentation of clinical treatment through use of electronic medical records.
• Ability to function as a member of the home health care team with expertise in nutritional care.

Base Pay, depending upon qualifications and subject to negotiation :

$62.00 - $65.00 per point
