Job descriptionOpenings : 2 FTE Start : October 15, 2025 End : October 16, 2026 Hourly pay : 240 to 260 based on experience Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m. No weekends or holidays 40 hours per week per FTE Evenings, weekends, holidays Phone response within 15 minutes On-site within 60 minutes Call schedule coordinated with VA staff oncology physicians Primary site : Buffalo VAMC, 3495 Bailey Ave, Buffalo NY 14215 Batavia VAMC, 222 Richmond Ave, Batavia NY 14020 Olean CBOC, 465 North Union St, Olean NY 14760 Batavia distance : 36.4 miles from Buffalo Olean distance : 75.5 miles from Buffalo Frequency per site : minimum one day per quarter, maximum one day per week, volume driven Provide oncology consultation and treatment in inpatient and outpatient settings Evaluate and triage consults from Primary Care and other services Obtain history and perform physical exams Order and interpret labs and studies Plan and prescribe treatment Coordinate care with Primary Care and the multidisciplinary team Complete peer review and OPPE tasks Provide oncology call coverage as assigned Current, full, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state or territory Board certified by ABIM in Medical Oncology Current BLS and ACLS DEA and NPI No history of license restriction, suspension, revocation, voluntary surrender, or denial Maintain required certifications and continuing education Patients seen on-site during normal clinic hours Clinic hours : 8 : 00 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m., Monday to Friday, excluding holidays Specific clinic times set with VA close to start date Resume with home address, phone, and email Physician license BLS ACLS DEA NPI
