Job description

Position : Registered Nurse (RN) PRN Days\n\nOverview\n\nMeadow Brook Health and Rehab in Salt Lake City, UT is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN)! At Meadow Brook, we are a close-knit group where providing our residents the best care possible is our #1 priority. We strive to improve the lives of our residents and their families, as well as our staff.\n\nWe care about our RNs and want to provide opportunities for them - which is why we have a "Nursing Tuition Reimbursement" program, where you can receive up to $500 a month (pre-tax) to go to nursing school, OR get reimbursed for your nursing program. No contract required, but we do require that you work part time or full time, and finish your first 90-days with us to be eligible for this program.\nPay\n\nPay Range\n : $35-45 an hour, depending on experience\nBenefits\n\nBenefits\n : \nBenefits are only available to our full-time employees, part-time and PRN employees do not have access to these benefits\n

  • 12 days of paid-time-off\nSchedule\n\nOur nurses are able to enjoy 12-hour shifts! Day shifts are from 6 AM to 6 PM, while night shifts are from 6 PM to 6 AM\n
  • Full Time nurses work 3 days a week\n
  • Part Time nurses work 1-2 days a week\n
  • PRN nurses work on a "as-needed / available" schedule\nRequirements\n
  • Current Utah-Issued RN license in good standing\n
  • Effective communication\n
  • Willingness to learn local, state, and federal laws / regulations in regards to long-term care\nJob Duties\n
  • Ordering medications, equipment, and supplies as prescribed.\n
  • Preparing and administering treatments / medications as ordered by the physician\n
  • Notify the resident s physician and / or family members when there is a change in the resident s condition\n
  • Administering professional nursing practice services such as : tube feedings, suction, catheterization, changing of dressings, packs, and irrigations as necessary\n
  • Continuous observation and monitoring of seriously ill residents\n
  • Being the patient advocate and ensuring that other healthcare team members are providing care according to the resident s care plan and personal wishes\n
  • Accurately completing necessary charting as required and in a timely manner\n#J-18808-Ljbffr
