C911CD is the 9-1-1 Public Safety Answering Point (PSAP) for Columbia County. We dispatch for all police, fire and medical agencies within our county. Additionally, we provide a variety of communication support for both public and private entities. The District is governed by a Board of Directors which consists of five elected members from throughout the county. C911CD is a government agency, and employees are in the public sector.

Recruitment Timeline
Submit your application by the last day of the month to be considered for online testing held between the 1st15th of the following month. Interviews and observational sessions are scheduled between the 16th and the end of the month. The full hiring process - including background checks, psychological and medical evaluations - typically takes up to 16 weeks. Final job offers are extended once all steps are successfully completed.
