Job descriptionFinalize and approve returns, applying strategic tax expertise to maximize client outcomes. Client Communication Build and maintain strong client relationships. Team Leadership Support process improvement initiatives to drive efficiency and accuracy. Expertise in Compliance Ensure the firm remains compliant with all reporting standards and requirements. CPA designation is highly preferred . 10+ years of experience in tax preparation and review, including corporate and individual tax returns. International tax experience is a significant plus . Proven ability to lead and develop a team. Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. About the Opportunity
Phoenix Pro Connect is partnering with a high-growth CPA firm to find a Senior Tax Reviewer who is ready to join a supportive, easygoing, and professional team. This role offers the rare opportunity to work a 9-to-5 schedule in a great working environment. You'll play a pivotal role in reviewing, finalizing, and approving corporate and individual tax returns while contributing to the success of a high-performing firm. International tax experience is a significant plus , given the firm's diverse client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Tax Review and Approval
Conduct thorough reviews of corporate and individual tax returns, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing clear, professional advice and proactive tax planning strategies.
Lead and mentor a team of tax preparers and intake staff, fostering a collaborative and high-quality work environment.
Stay current with federal, state, and international tax regulations and implement best practices.
