Fully Remote (U.S. Only) : This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from home or location of record within the U.S. with no in-office requirements. You must be available five days per week during designated work hours. The work arrangement for this role is subject to change based on business needs and individual performance. This may include adjustments to on-site requirements or schedule expectations, as necessary.

Position Overview

This position is responsible for authenticating prospective clients, identifying potential threats and risks with existing and prospective clients. This position will also monitor the credit quality of our existing client portfolio, as well as support various departments as necessary regarding credit risk. This role will assist in developing Credit Risk Specialist I and handling any type of escalated issue from the Specialist I.

• Master Credit Risk Specialist I responsibilities without direct supervision.
• Assist in the training and development of Credit Risk Specialist I’s.
• Demonstrates understanding of overall Risk Mitigation department functions.
• Develop and recommend policy, procedural, and automation enhancements to promote productivity and control within Risk Mitigation.
• Identify, review and resolve escalated issues from Credit Risk Specialist I.
• Independently run and analyze credit reports on new / existing clients.
• Research client setup documents to verify the client’s identity.
• Use proper judgment to determine funding method for each client by taking into account clients credit report, setup documents, and fraud research. credit reports and monitor credit risk clients for funding requirement changes. Ability to set credit line threshold up to $1 million.
• Continuously monitor credit alerts associated with our clients, using sound judgment to determine if the alert warrants a change in funding method for our client.
• Interact with clients and internal departments to resolve issues in regard to transaction settlement or other queries.
• Identify and resolve detected fraudulent activity, including but not limited to funds recovery, client contact and internal follow up.
• Review and confirm client level bank accounts changes to mitigate the risk of fraudulent transactions. Confirming information directly with the client is required.
• Above average knowledge of all operating systems, including Intuit, OFAC, and Web Pay.
• Be available on phone queue to assist internal partners
• Perform related ad hoc projects including but not limited to accumulating data for analysis or creating reports at the request of the Client Credit Risk Manager.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

The pay range for this position is $45,900 - $66,000 / yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual performance in addition to a full range of benefits outlined here. This information is provided per the relevant state and local pay transparency laws for the location in which this position will be performed. Base pay information is based on market location.
